Linha Micro Temp

The Micro Temp Line comprises quenching oils formulated with paraffinic mineral base oils, antioxidant additives and cooling curve accelerators. They offer high oxidation resistance and a cooling rate higher than that of fast oils, while maintaining a mild speed in the final phase, which allows the complete thermal transformation of the metal without risk of cracking or warping.

They are especially recommended for quenching hard-to-harden steels, such as 8620, 20 MnCr5 and 1040, with no occurrence of cracks or distortion.

The line includes Micro Temp 100, Micro Temp 195 and Micro Temp 153 B, the latter for accelerated quenching of alloys used in the automotive and aerospace industries. Viscosities across the line range from 10 to 41 cSt at 40°C, depending on the grade.
