About the product
Technical details and applications
The Siberian line consists of highly refined naphthenic mineral oils, developed for lubricating compressors in refrigeration systems. They offer good thermal stability and oxidation resistance, with a viscosity index and pour point suited to refrigeration service.
They are compatible with most refrigeration gases (Freon, Frigen, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and methyl chloride), which are poorly soluble in the oil. They protect the units against corrosion, keep the rings free and the pistons and valves clean, resisting corrosion and rust.
Because they are wax-free and moisture-free, they have adequate fluidity to operate at extremely low temperatures, an essential condition in refrigeration systems. The line is available in ISO VG 32 to 100 viscosities.
Applications
- Compressors in refrigeration systems
- Systems with ammonia, Freon, methyl chloride and other refrigerants
- Applications operating at extremely low temperatures
Advantages
- The film does not freeze: wax-free, it flows in the extreme cold of refrigeration.
- Compatible with the gases: stable in contact with ammonia, Freon and methyl chloride.
- Moisture-free: protects the circuit against ice formation and corrosion.
- Four viscosities: from ISO VG 32 to 100.
