Keen Sol SS EP is a semi-synthetic cutting fluid based on mineral oil which, when mixed with water, produces a milky microemulsion, resistant to bacterial degradation and to contaminating oils.
It differs from Keen Sol SS in its extreme pressure (EP) additive package, which extends the lubricating power to higher-severity operations while keeping the good stability, the wetting capacity, the high durability and the low foaming.
It is a modern biostable fluid, recommended for the usual machining and grinding operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals that demand more load-carrying capacity than an ordinary semi-synthetic delivers.
