Keen Sol SS is a soluble semi-synthetic cutting fluid, based on mineral oil, which when mixed with water produces a milky microemulsion, resistant to bacterial degradation and to contaminating oils.
The microemulsion has good stability, good wetting and cleaning capacity, high durability and a low tendency to foam. It combines the cooling power of soluble fluids with the lubricity of mineral oil.
It is recommended for the usual machining and grinding operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, standing out for its biostability and easy treatability. Several grades are free of boron, nitrite and phenols, meeting environmental and handling requirements.
