Technical details and applications
Magneto 10 is a transformer oil that meets the requirements of the ASTM D3487 Type II standard. Its formulation offers high resistance to degradation, providing excellent oxidation stability during service in the transformer and reducing maintenance.
As a naphthenic mineral oil, its low-temperature characteristics allow the transformer to start operating at the lowest possible temperature, without the need for pour point depressant additives. Its low viscosity provides excellent heat transfer characteristics.
It was specially developed for transformers, rectifiers, circuit breakers and switches. As an insulating oil, it meets and exceeds the most stringent dielectric strength requirements when properly stored and handled, and passes ASTM D1275 corrosion tests. The product has a viscosity of 18.58 cSt at 40°C.
