HBA = NPA by Kelpen Oil is the aromatic oil classified as NPA (Naphthenic Process Aid) — a process aid for the rubber industry that meets European regulatory requirements regarding limitation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). It is the raw material option for tire, rubber goods and elastomeric compound manufacturers that export to Europe or need to comply with REACH directive restrictions and similar.

In application, it behaves as an extender oil and processing aid for the rubber compound, preserving mechanical properties and processability on the line.
