About the product
Technical details and applications
The HBP Line by Kelpen Oil is composed of Group I paraffinic mineral base oils, an API classification that designates bases produced through solvent refining. It is the most traditional and widely used base in Brazil for lubricant formulation, thanks to its balance between consistent performance, availability and cost.
Available across a complete viscosity matrix — from HBP-4 to HBP-1000 — the HBP Line serves formulators across multiple segments: agribusiness, chemical industry, adhesives, antifoams, hydraulics and greases. Grade selection depends on the formulated end-product and on the expected operating temperature.
Kelpen Oil keeps batch-by-batch quality control and provides a technical bulletin per grade for customer validation.
