Supramatic CVT by Kelpen Oil is the fluid specifically developed for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) — found in modern compact and mid-size vehicles (Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Fiat) and in a number of motorcycles. Unlike conventional ATFs, CVT depends on a specific friction coefficient between belt/chain and pulleys to transmit torque without slipping.
The formulation combines specific friction-modifier additives, oxidative stability for long cycles and protection of internal clutches. Always consult the manufacturer's manual before changing — CVT fluids are not interchangeable with Dexron ATF and the like.
